The most striking feature of this program is being programmed to meet all the needs of the individual, together with him/her, his/her family, government agencies and extended care network, and also to create a special care plan that enhance his/her life and improve him/her. From the meals we customize according to your preferences to the daily activities and outings we plan to fit in the lifestyle you desire, we are always focused on you every step of the way.

Our clinical support includes the following:

• Certified Nurses available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Clinical care staff experienced in dementia support and palliative care.
• Access to a team of general practitioners from local medical clinics that visit most days.
• Specialty services such as an exam by a geriatrician, optometry, pharmacy, radiology and mobile dentistry.
• Support from our allied health team providing occupational therapy, physiotherapy, fitness and wellness programs and exercise classes.

Our dedicated allied health team works with you to develop appropriate programs in our facility where we offer services in the comfort of your own home.

We offer a range of services aimed at increasing your strength and mobility, reducing falls, maintaining your independence and improving your quality of life.

Our services include:

1- Physiotherapy Our Physiotherapists treat a range of chronic conditions with support including;

• a) Increasing your mobility;
• b) Walker etc. prescribing physical aids
• c) Increasing your range of motion after injury
• d) Routine exercise prescription.
• e) Occupational therapy

2- Our occupational therapists can support you and your care network in the following areas:

• a) Modification and equipment prescription
• b) Ongoing therapy
• c) Behavioral support (for dementia and/or disability)

At Elysium, we believe that pastoral care plays an essential role in providing quality residential care to people as they age. Pastoral care is a holistic care model and includes physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being.

While pastoral care is an inherent part of all roles at Elysium, we also employ a dedicated pastoral care team who work closely with our clinical team to provide holistic care to the residents, caregivers and their families.

The team offers emotional and spiritual support to residents of all faiths and those who do not identify themselves with any belief system. This care model is delivered with sensitivity to each person's unique needs, feelings and wishes and always in confidentiality.

Residents can be sure that they will have space and support to reflect on their lives and relationships, their legacy and a myriad of other things that occupy people's thoughts as they age.

Elysium offers comprehensive pastoral care services, including but not limited to:

• A friendly visit
• Time to listen
• Sensitivity to your concerns and wishes
• Emotional and spiritual support in times of crisis, grief and loss
• Sharing the joys of life and healing
• Prayers and/or rituals (communion upon request)
• Specific religious needs of all denominations and faiths are coordinated by the pastoral care team.
• Identifying what is meaningful to you and helping you access the same as you enter your new home. This may include special activities, art, music, nature and/or spiritual activities.
